Scope and Purpose

The reviewer policy of BioSphere Dynamics: International Journal of Biological and Environmental Sciences establishes the principles and procedures for the evaluation of submitted manuscripts. Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are selected based on:

  • Absence of conflicts of interest (personal, financial, institutional, or collaborative).
  • Proven record of scholarly publications, research contributions, or professional experience in relevant domains.

Confidentiality

All submitted manuscripts are treated as strictly confidential documents. Reviewers must:

  • Not share, distribute, or discuss the manuscript with any third party without editorial permission.
  • Not use unpublished data, ideas, or findings for personal or professional advantage.
  • Ensure secure handling and disposal of manuscript materials.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including:

  • Prior or ongoing collaborations with the authors
  • Shared institutional affiliations or funding sources
  • Personal or professional relationships

If impartiality cannot be guaranteed, reviewers must decline or withdraw from the review process.

Review Criteria

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts based on:

Review Report

Reviewers are required to submit structured and constructive reports including:

  • Major Strengths – Key contributions and scientific merits
  • Major Weaknesses – Critical issues, methodological concerns, or gaps
  • Minor Comments – Language, formatting, or referencing improvements
  • Recommendation – One of the following:
    • Accept
    • Accept with minor revisions
    • Major revisions required
    • Reject

Timeliness

Reviewers are expected to submit their evaluations within 3–4 weeks of accepting the review invitation. If delays are anticipated, they must promptly inform the Editorial Office.

Editorial Responsibilities

Conflict of Interest (Editorial)

Appeals and Complaints

Post-Publication Corrections
